Today's choir practice was a fruitful and tiring one.When I was on my way home, i met XXX on the bus. We were talking bout some choir stuff and den i asked him this question
Me: Can u ask ertcnee oht to transfer me to Sop? I seriously dun like the tenor range.
XXX: Actually i asked him before u noe? I said :"maybe u wanna transfer shawn goh to Sop cos his falsetto stronger than his real voice. Den enanj hit me and said: No lor!!!" [
which means enanj dun want me to be in the section lar..but never mind...thats not important.] Den ertcnee oht said :"U tell shawn goh arh...is either he sing tenor and stay in SYF or he sing Sop and get out of SYF'
Mind u Mr Man...SYF is for us to develop our interest in the Arts and to allow us to see how far the choir's potential can go ok? Not for u to use as a weapon...always threatening people with "I will simply kick you out of SYF" Its not like I am an unproductive person in the choir...only occupying space and taking up air in the music room. I do create sound. Whether it's good sound or bad sound, whateva u think it is. There are other people who just occupy space and take up air in the music room, in addition create non-constructive noises. Me wanting to transfer to Sop is merely a request. A normal human being will just politely reject the request. Let me remind u again...u need not say that. That was totally unnecessary. I don't need it. So dun give it to me. If u need someone to coach u on how to deal with such cases with courtesy, inform me. I will make some arrangements for you.
